Let IP Grow / Commercial imagination for content
One story.
More lives.
Product is
one answer.
Let IP Grow helps content and IP find new commercial lives. Sometimes the right answer is a product. It may also be an exhibition, campaign, space, experience, licensing idea or partnership.
Product Lab is our current public practice: a place to make interpretations tangible, test them in the world and show how we think. It is part of Let IP Grow—not the limit of it.
How the practice works
- 01Discover
Find content, rights or cultural material with unused emotional and commercial potential.
- 02Interpret
Understand what the content means before deciding what form it should take.
- 03Invent
Translate that reading into the right form: a product, campaign, exhibition, experience or partnership.
- 04Test
Put the proposition into the world and look for evidence of desire, buyer intent and partner fit.
- 05Develop
Move the strongest ideas toward prototypes, production, licensing, activation or collaboration.

The book · Shinya Huang
The asset—not one format.
Let IP Grow is about seeing creative work as a rights-bearing asset that can keep moving across formats, markets, territories and audiences. The book gives the wider commercial framework; Product Lab is one living application of it.

Built from practice.
Shinya Huang’s work sits between creative direction, rights, brand building and commercial development across China and the UK. Let IP Grow brings those disciplines together around one question: what else could valuable content become?
Before Let IP Grow, Shinya co-founded HeyYoung. The company worked with more than 100 brands, including a Levi’s collaboration that ran for over three years. That is previous-company experience—not a claim of a current Let IP Grow partnership.
